“She left about a week and a half ago.”
I chuckled. “That’s not that long. You all can potentially get back together.”
He shook his head confidently. “Nah. She’s walked away too many times. This time, she moved out. She rented a crib without me knowing. It's clear that I don’t make her happy. My ego won’t allow me to take her back.”
As he spoke to me, I wondered had he forgotten about his ex being there. He never looked away from me, only up to talk to his friend whenever Meek wanted his attention. Other than that, the more we spoke, the more his undivided attention focused solely on me.
Soon, the party started to end. The DJ replaced the trap music that he had been serenading the party with with some old slow jams.
